Carol L. Young-Ford (nee Haner) entered into rest on July 8, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane. Born March 19, 1955 in Lockport she is the daughter of Muriel (Clark) Haner of St. Petersburg, FL and the late Edward "Phil" Haner. Carol worked for Sherwood, Mount View Health Care Facility and was a butcher in Florida. She enjoyed arts and crafts but loved to spend time with her family. Carol will always be remembered as a great mother, wife, sister, daughter and aunt.

Carol is survived by her husband Rudolph Young; mother of Michael (Heather) Ford, Dereck Ford both of Lockport and LaTasha Ford of Vallejo, CA; sister of Cindy Haner, Belinda (Bobby) Polton both of St. Petersburg, FL, Fred Haner and Darlene (Delbert) Cummings both of Lockport; also survived by eight grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
