Obituary of Geraldine V. Wittcop

Geraldine V. Wittcop passed away March 12, 2018 in Lockport Rehab & Healthcare Center.  Born March 23, 1932 in Royalton she was the daughter of Henry and Virginia (Herman) Jakubowski.  Geraldine worked for Harrison Radiator in production and enjoyed gardening, traveling, doing crafts, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was predeceased by her husband Allen W. Wittcop and her soulmate Charles Pomeroy.

Geraldine is survived by her children Virginia (Ronald) Zimmerman, Dana (Joann) Wittcop, Kim (Susan) Wittcop , Sr., and Tammy (Richard) Groff; grandmother of Kelley, Matt, Brandon, Justin, Jordan, Kim Jr., April, Tonisha, Nick, Nathan, and late Tara and Ryan; great grandmother of sixteen; sister of Linda (Bill) Vincent and Dale (Janet) Dunkelberger; also several nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her step-siblings Howard, William Dunkelberger, and Sharon Schultz.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, March 15th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will be held Friday, March 16th at 11 AM.  Memorials to the Wolcottsville Fire Company, 6337 Wolcottsville Rd, Akron, NY 14001, would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
