Dorothy L. McDonald passed away Saturday January 27th 2018 at Niagara Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born in Newfane on August 7th 1968 she was the daughter of Paul Shellman and Carrie McDonald. Dorothy loved to draw, sing, dance and cook. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Dorothy is survived by her children; sons Issac McDonald, Leroy Thornton III, Abouyea Thornton, Devonte Thornton and Daughters Toyin Thornton, Syanne Thornton, Shiah Thornton and Sheni Thornton. Dorothy was the sister of Paul Shellman, James McDonald, Ernestine Shellman, Corrine Hall, The Late Eva Shellman, Karen Elias Hall and Arlene McDonald. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
Relatives and Friends may call Friday February 9th from 10AM-11AM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee street, Lockport, where services will immediately follow at 11AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
