Vic was an amazing man and father. I feel blessed to have have known him, and have him as my son's grandfather. He had a sweet nature about him, and took us in as his own. The Gardepe family will always be a huge part of my life for they made my life so much brighter. I am so sorry I could not be there to say my goodbyes, however know that I am there in spirit and I know he knows my heart. I am so blessed that you and Mosie came to our home in California to see us, because we were so happy. Whenever I need to think of my happy place it is at your home on the lake sitting with you two. We're so very saddened to learn of the loss of "Uncle" Vic, as we called him in the years we were Summer neighbors on Shadigee Lane. We spent MANY evenings sitting together, sharing stories and laughs in front of the lake. So many dinner outings, and gatherings in the sun. Vic and Mosie added much to our years on the lane-we will miss him, and pray for peace for Mosie and the family. As for "Uncle" Vic-he is surely resting in Peace. Blessings to all
