Obituary of Blanche L. Diel
Blanche L. Diel passed away November 19, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. Born June 3, 1931 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Charles and Blanche (Weaver) Freeman. Blanche worked for the City of Lockport where she was a crossing guard. She enjoyed making quilts, reading books and Monday Movie Night. Blanche was predeceased by her husband, William Diel in 2014, a grandson Brandon and her companion Ronald Woods.
Blanche is survived by her children Michael (Sandra) Diel, Douglas Diel (Emily), Deborah Sabella, and Julie Diel (Robert); grandmother of twelve; great grandmother of 13.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, Nov. 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will be Saturday, Nov. 25th at 10 AM. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
