Donald E. Frank passed away October 24, 2017 in Absolut of Gasport. Born in Detroit, MI on June 27, 1936 he was the son of Harry and Gladys (Cappell) Frank. He graduated from Riverside High School in Buffalo and worked for Buffalo Psychiatric Center where he was the maintenance foreman retiring in 1995. Donald was a past member of the Auxiliary Coast Guard and the New York Walleye Association, and he enjoyed walleye fishing especially in Sandusky, OH.
Donald is survived by his loving wife Carol (nee Gugliuzza) Frank; step-sons Jeffrey (Christine) Thuman and Dennis (Joann) Thuman; grandchildren Jeffrey Thuman, Jr., Amy Thuman, Kaleigh Thuman, and Raven Thuman; brother-in-law of Sally (Kenneth) Moore; uncle of Kenneth (Naomi) Moore, Jr. and late Stephanie Moore-Verratti.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, Oct. 27th from 9:30-10:30 AM with services following at 10:30 AM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Swormville, NY. Donations to the Stephanie Moore Verratti Memorial Fund, 7275 Woodhaven Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
