Richard R. Hake passed away May 8, 2017 in Absolut of Gasport. Born May 22, 1936 in Clarence, NY he was the son of Louis and Mildred (Krull) Hake. Richard worked for Red Star Express Lines in Williamsville where he was a diesel mechanic for 42 years. He was also a volunteer fireman with Rapids Volunteer Fire Co. for 45 years, and volunteered with the Raymond Hill Food Bank, served with the Royalton Town Board for 16 years, Boy Scout Troop 54 for 24 years and attended Lockport Alliance Church. Richard is survived by his wife Glenna (Doetterl) Hake; children Richard (Lee) Hake, Susan Botticelli, Sandra Henrikson, Karen (Robert) Neu, and Ronald (Andrea) Hake; his 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Betty Frey. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, May 13th from 10 AM – 11:30 AM services following at 11:30 AM in Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Rd., Lockport. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
