Robert W. Weir passed away on Sunday February 26, 2017. Born in Niagara Falls on February 6, 1954, he was the son of the late Robert and Jane Wilson Weir. Robert retired from the University of Buffalo, after working there for over 20 years, at his retirement, he worked as a Financial Aide Advisor. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, the outdoors and tinkering and fixing things.
Robert is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna (nee Borst) Weir; father of Melissa (Kaleb Magee) Weir, Robert W. (Amanda) Weir Jr., Andrea L. (Joshua) Willis and Lindsay (David) Fiedler; grandfather of Clair, Aaron, Benjamin, Abigail, Elizabeth and Oliver. Robert is also survived by his brother Brian (Miriam) Weir and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday March 2nd from 2 to 4 PM, where services will immediately follow at 4 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
