Ruth E. DeVoe passed away February 20, 2017 in Absolut of Gasport. Born in Lockport on May 22, 1933 she was the daughter of Henry and Lula (Hert) DeVoe. Ruth enjoyed horseback riding, riding her bike, birds and other animals. Ruth is survived by her children Peggy Vinton, Penny Vinton, Peter Vinton, Melvin Vinton, Patty (Jeff Fry) Chase, Linda (Richard) Falls, Kathy (Loyd) Gardner; grandmother of 11; sister of Marylou Covell and predeceased by 9 other brother and sisters; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, Feb. 25th from 10 AM to 12 Noon where services will follow at 12 Noon in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
