Obituary of Lucy V. Savino

Lucy Veronica Pardo Savino entered into rest February 13, 2017 at the age of 97 surrounded by her loving family. Lucy was born October 26, 1919 the daughter of Lucia and Joseph Pardo. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred and daughter Rachelle. She is survived by her loving daughters Karen (John) Eberhart , Lucia (the late Ed) Groff and Clare (Harry) Apolito; grandmother of Lisa Cecere, Julie Holler, Rick Eberhart, Margot (Ed) Bailey, Greg Perry, Brad (Joanne), Erin (Kurt) Forsyth, Christopher (Tory) Apolito and Kevin Apolito; also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lucy was predeceased by brothers and sisters Joseph, Larry, Sam, Tony, Josephine and Rose. Lucy graduated from Lockport Sr. High School, was a member of St. Joseph's Church, and avid reader, loved to crochet, bowl and vacation in Florida. She especially loved spending time with her family who were most important to her. The family would like to express their appreciation to Heritage Manor and Briody Health Care Facility for their care and kindness. Relatives and friends may call Friday February 17, 2017 from 3 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday February 18, 2017 at 12 noon in All Saints Parish Oratory, 291 Market Street, Lockport, NY.
