Thomas A. Prica passed away October 20, 2016 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport after a brief illness. Born in Lockport on April 23, 1937 he was the son of Frank and Sarah (Renna) Prica. Thomas worked for 38 years with the Lockport School District as a custodian at Anna Merritt Elementary School retiring in 2005. He enjoyed working on his genealogy and connecting with relatives. Thomas is survived by his wife of 58 years Norma (Danver) Prica of Lockport; father of Thomas (Pat) Prica of North Carolina, Tony (Kelley) Prica of Lockport, Joe (Lori) Prica of Newfane, Frank (Krystal) Prica of Amherst, and Yvonne (Mike) Prica of Lockport; grandfather of Shannon, Andrew, Anthony, Josh, Tiffanie, Sara, Michael, Josh, and Samantha; great grandfather of six; brother of Anita (David) Woods of Lockport and late Anna Marie Prica. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Oct. 23 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 24 at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market St., Lockport. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
