Roger E. LaPort passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016. Born in Buffalo on August 25, 1954 he was the son of Leo and Mildred (Barnes) LaPort. Roger worked for GM Powertrain in Tonawanda in production. He enjoyed going out with friends, being around people, and riding his motorcycles. Roger was a member of the Redmen Club. He is survived by companion of 10 years, Patricia Chase and her son Luke Hall; brother of Leo LaPort and late Timothy (late Sheila) LaPort; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Sept. 18th from 1-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will be held Monday, Sept. 19th at 10AM. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
