Earl G. Amyotte passed away July 23, 2016 in Halifax Medical Center in Ormond Beach, FL. Born October 18, 1916 in Huntington, Quebec, Canada he was the son of George and Minnie Amyotte. Earl served in the Army from 1943 to 1946 being awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the Victory Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Theater Service Medal. Earl worked for Greyhound Bus Company in Buffalo for 28 ½ years driving bus and then worked for Grand Island Transit for ten years. He was predeceased by his wife Frieda Amyotte in June of 1984 and his son Thomas Amyotte in 2004. Earl is survived by his daughter Rebecca (William) Reynolds of Daytona Beach, FL; daughter-in-law Linda Amyotte of Lockport; grandchildren Marla (Jonathan Sheusi) Amyotte, Kristi (Don) Barry, Danielle (Chris) Guild, Ellen Reynolds, and Earl (Jessica Ceniccola) Reynolds; great grandchildren Alex (Courtney Weiglein) Santana, Manon Santana, Jared Barry, and Caleb Barry; siblings Leo (Mabel) Amyotte, Edna Marcellus and late Fred Amyotte, Junior Amyotte, Francis Amyotte, and Theresa LaGrave; brother-in-law of Agnes Amyotte and Elwood Marcellus; also several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 29th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will be held Saturday, July 30th at 10 AM.
