Barbara E. Wurl passed away July 21, 2016 in the Brookdale Senior Living Complex in Hendersonville, TN. Barbara was born July 18, 1932 in Lockport, NY, the daughter of Julius M., Jr. and Esther B (Winters) Class. She was married to the late Norman C. Wurl who passed away July 14, 2010. Barbara enjoyed reading, painting, raising Orchids, but most of all she enjoyed her loving family. Surviving Barbara are her children; Linda (Darrell) Oswald of Orlinda, TN, Mark C. (Patricia) Wurl of Brentwood, TN, Douglas N. (Maripat Abbott) Wurl of Sewickley, PA and Beth W. (Timothy) Bicker of Newfane, NY; grandmother of James (Katie) and Kevin (Michelle) Oswald, Alexis and Rachel Wurl; great grandmother of Stephanie, Ashley, Kaylee Oswald and Tyler Green. She is also survived by her siblings Robert (Elaine) Class, James (Sharon) Class, Roger (Gretchen) Class and Kathleen Class; also several nieces and nephews and was pre-deceased by her brother Julius (Arlene) Class, III. There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be held Thursday July 28, 2016 at 11AM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. Memorials to the First English Lutheran Church, 185 Locust Street, Lockport, NY 14094 or donations to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203 would be appreciated.
