Lucy Mae Person Cunningham passed away July 16, 2015 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY. Born in Fort Valley, GA on April 10, 1937 she was the daughter of Jim and Sarah (Lyons) Person. Lucy worked in production for RJ Reynolds. She was predeceased by her husband Willie James Cunningham, Sr. in 1994, whom she married in 1955. Lucy is survived by her children Willie James (Josephine) Cunningham, Lucy (Eddie) George, Judy Ann Cunningham, Willie Jay (Peggy Jones) Cunningham, Rachel Cunningham, Willie Frank Cunningham, Jimmy (Tamara) Cunningham, Lisa (James) Humber, Christine (Oscar) Williams, Lisa Marie Cunningham, Elijah Cunningham and the late Marie and Rose Marie Cunningham; grandmother of 51 and great grandmother of five; sister of Jake Person, Sara Stokes, late Sarah Janes Person, Oralee King and Willie B. Person; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, July 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20th at 12 Noon in Refuge Temple of Christ Church, 15 Cottage St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
