Obituary of Francis Polewicz Jr.

Francis P. Polewicz, Jr. passed away December 26, 2007 in DeGraf Memorial Hospital.� Born August 3, 1932 in Niagara Falls he was the son of Francis and Margaret Monko Polewicz, Sr.� Frank served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1956.� Prior to serving he worked for Carborundom as an electrician from 1950 to 1952.� Upon discharge from the Navy Frank became a New York State Trooper in 1956, he was stationed in Albion, Athol Springs and Lewiston barracks.� Frank became sergeant on June 11, 1964 he then retired in 1974.

Frank is survived by his wife Marjorie Hicks Polewicz of Pendleton; father of Scott (Carolyn) Polewicz of Lockport, Todd (Roxanne) Polewicz of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada and the late Francis P. Polewicz, III; grandfather of Malinda Polewicz; brother of the late Margaret Guthrie.

Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 AM.� Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
