Harold Pless, 87 a lifelong resident of Clarence Center, NY passed away December 20, 2007.� A proud Navy Veteran after service with Amphibious������������� forces in North Africa in WW II.� Retired from Linde Air after many years he pursued interests in furniture making, world travel with his wife and golf with his good friends.� Harold was an enthusiastic member of Rapids Volunteer Fire Company since 1949.� His sense of humor and easy smile will be missed by many.� Harold was also a member of St. Stephen&amp;#39;s United Church of Christ in East Amherst.� He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years Loraine (Bartz) Pless on January 2, 2001. � Harold survived by his daughters Suzanne McCaffrey of Miami, FL, Sally Freeberg of Williamsville and Jean (David) Keller of San Francisco, CA who were all very fortunate to have had him as their father; grandfather of Andy Freeberg and Nora (Mike) Cunha. � Friends may call Saturday 2-6 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 PM in St. Stephen&amp;#39;s United Church of Christ, 8520 Tonawanda Creek Road, East Amherst, NY 14051.� Interment will be in St. Stephen&amp;#39;s Cemetery.� Memorials to the church or to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Visitation Times
