Loraine M. Smith passed away August 15, 2008.� Born May 21, 1923 in Somerset she was the daughter of the late Bert and Jennie (Klumpp) Betzler.� Loraines was a member of the 4-H Club as a teenager and had a 4-H Club of her own after she married her husband Charles G. Smith who predeceased her April 7, 1994. � Loraine is survived by her children Charles G. (Lynn) Smith, Jr. of Lockport, Sara J. Smith and Dean E. (Virginia) Smith both of Gasport; grandmother of Shawn, Colleen, Alisha, Danielle, Deana and Allie Smith; great grandmother of Cadin Frey; sister of Marjory (Late William) Rhode and predeceased by three sisters and one brother; dear friend of Jerri Bisher and also survived by several nieces and nephews. � Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM.� Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.� Memorials to the Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Avenue, Gasport, NY 14067 or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Sunday, August 17, 2008 2-4 and 7-9 PM <h3>Services</h3> Monday, August 18, 2008 at 11 AM
