Louis G. Hemmer passed away June 7, 2008.� Born October 12, 1918 in Lockport he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (McQueeny) Hemmer.� A graduate of Lockport High School Louis worked for 40 years at Harrison Radiator in the Tool &amp; Die Room retiring in 1978.� He was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church and the Knights of Columbus.� Louis greatest joy was his family especially his grandchildren.� He was predeceased by his loving wife Virginia (Garlock) Hemmer in 1999, four brothers and three sisters. � Louis is survived by his two daughters Marilyn Ryan of Lockport and Nancy (James) Kennedy of Norfolk, VA; grandfather of Natalie Sherman, Monica (Dan) Tronolone both of Lockport and Christine (Robert) Gajdek of Norfolk, VA; great grandfather of Christian, Madeline Peracciny, Hunter, Logan Sherman, Sophia, Danielle Tronolone and Emily, Jordyn Gajdek; brother of Esther Brown and Rosemary Bergman; also survived by several nieces and nephews. � Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 1023 Swann Road, Lewiston, NY 14092 would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Wednesday June 11, 2008 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM <h3>Services</h3> Thursday June 12, 2008 10 AM
